Privacy policy

This is the short version, in plain language, because it should be.

What we collect

• Forms. The contact form collects what you type into it: your name, email address, and what you tell us about your hardware and goals. The download and calculator sign-up forms collect your email address.
• Analytics. RobotNurse counts page visits with Counterscale, an open-source analytics tool we host ourselves. It doesn't set cookies or store anything in your browser, and it doesn't follow you to other sites. We see totals like which pages were viewed and which sites sent visitors.
• Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is submitting them. Turnstile runs under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Payments. Digital downloads are sold through Gumroad and services through Stripe. They handle your card details on their own systems; we never see or store your card number. When you open the checkout on our /buy/ page, Gumroad's script loads and Gumroad may set its own cookies under its privacy policy. Stripe's checkout pages work the same way under Stripe's privacy policy.
• Affiliate links. Some links to Amazon carry our Associates tag; if you follow one, Amazon may set its own cookies.

What we don't do: we don't sell your information, we don't buy lists, and we don't run advertising trackers.

How we use it

If you send a contact or quote form, we use your details to reply to you and, if we work together, to provide the service.

If you sign up with your email, we use it to deliver what you asked for (the checklist, the ebook, or the digest), plus occasional RobotNurse updates. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.

We share it only with the services that run these forms for us: Buttondown, which manages our email list, and Resend, which delivers contact-form messages to our inbox. Each handles your data under its own privacy policy. We don't sell it.
